ArtintheCity’s ArtBus, supported by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA, Abu Dhabi), returns this November to connect art lovers in Dubai to Abu Dhabi Art, from 7 - 10 November 2012. The ArtBus will provide daily excursions to the fair, accompanied by art guides who will assist passengers with navigating the fair programme.

Abu Dhabi Art 2012 is located in the UAE Pavilion and Manarat Al Saadiyat, in Saadiyat Cultural District. The fair brings together 50 of the worlds leading modern, contemporary art and design galleries showcasing over 400 artists. Many of the galleries featured this year include UAE based favourites Art Sawa, ARTSPACE, Ayyam Gallery, Galerie El Marsa, Hunar Gallery, Meem Gallery and The Third Line. If you’re looking for art from further afield then head to Bait Muzna Gallery, Gagosian Gallery, Galleria Continua , Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, Hauser & Wirth and Leila Heller Gallery to name a few. Also check out first time participants: Kukje Gallery, Simon Lee Gallery, The Breeder and Tina Keng Gallery.

ArtBus passengers will also be able to visit the talks, design workshops, and exhibitions including 'Art, Talks and Sensations, The Island: A Game of Life' by curator Fabrice Bousteau. Ongoing exhibitions ‘The Saadiyat Story’, and ‘Eco Future’ will also take place alongside the fair at Manarat Al Saadiyat.

As part of the collaboration between ArtintheCity and Abu Dhabi Art, the ArtBus will again feature artwork from the winners of the ‘Wings Project’, transforming it into a moving artwork. This Abu Dhabi Art initiative, which is in its third year, allows young or emerging local artists to create their interpretation of the ‘Wing’ logo each year. The winners who are soon to be announced, will also have their creation incorporated into Abu Dhabi Art merchandise so make sure a stop by the Artyfact shop is on your itinerary!

Running consecutively on four days from 7 - 10 November 2012, the ArtBus will depart daily from thejamjar in Al Quoz, Dubai, at 2pm and will leave Manarat Al Saadiyat at 9pm, returning to Dubai.
