GPP believes in the art and science of photography as a medium of creative expression, and exist to inform, educate and inspire people across the Middle East. Whether you’re a photo newbie, advanced amateur or pro photographer, you’ll find plenty to stimulate your interest at Gulf Photo Plus.

Workshops
From translating the camera manual to plain English and developing a personal creative style, to learning studio lighting and mastering Photoshop, GPP has year-round workshops for photographers of all levels.

Events
Every year GPP brings the world’s leading photographers to Dubai for the GPP event (in March) and FotoWeekend (in November). From portraits and landscapes, to food and product photography, to fashion photography and advanced lighting techniques, there’s a host of exciting workshops and seminars for photographers of all levels.

The best way to grow as a photographer is to share your work. Showcase your photos, see what others are shooting, get inspired, and give and get advice in the Gallery.

Community
GPP organizes many events to bring photographers together. The Photo Walks introduce people to a wealth of photo opportunities, their always inspirational Slidefest showcases the work of locally-based photographers, and various competitions encourage development.

Marketplace
Buy and sell second hand camera gear, with no listing fees or commissions to pay – GPP calls it a photography “free-bay” for our members.

Store
GPP works hard to source the must-have photography accessories, that are otherwise difficult to find in the region, and expensive to import. Shop online (and ship internationally), or come visit the store.
