Opening on 19 March 2012 Rendell will display a new body of work to include documentation of the artistic process in an exhibition which will be on display at thejamjar until 31 March 2012.

The work displayed in this exhibition will be the result of Rendell's artist residency with thejamjar.

Having exhibited widely in the UAE, many will be familiar with Rebecca Rendell’s mixed-media installations and works on canvas, all of which often include found objects. With a background in fine art and textiles Rebecca Rendell’s practice is heavily influenced with
pattern, repetition, balance and tension all with meticulous mathematical execution – it’s no wonder she sites the weaving loom as a key point of reference.
