'La Fête de la Musique' will take place in the unique surroundings of the Souk Madinat Jumeirah. Amateur and professional musicians will invade the alleys of the souk and perform from 7pm - 10pm. The 'Fête de la Musique' will allow the expression of all styles of music in a cheerful atmosphere, and will be representative of the cultural diversity of the UAE. The various acts and artists present a wide diversity of instruments, traditions and sounds. It helps popularize musical practice for all people with different ages. This is likely to be one of the most varied and colorful musical events of the season.

Visitors will follow a musical journey leading from East to West. Popular oriental music, Gypsy jazz, Pop, Rock, French standards as well as world music will leave an unforgettable souvenir to the audience that night.

Completely different from a music festival, the 'Fête de la Musique' is above all a free popular event, open to any participant (amateur or professional musicians) who wants to perform in it. This music day allows the expression of all styles of music in a cheerful atmosphere. It is aimed at a large audience, working to popularize musical practice for young and older people from all social backgrounds. It gives an opportunity to communicate and share a very special moment through music.
